I first bought this lap desk years ago. I have had others since and I have to say, they are just not as comfortable. The Lapp Topper is cushioned all around. So if you are holding it in a position where it pushes into your abdomen, you will not feel any discomfort. I've used this position when leaning back doing paperwork or using my laptop. I have not been able to find another lap desk that is cushioned this way anywhere.
I highly recommend this lap desk. It fits a full size laptop well when you remove the cup holder. I have one for myself, one for my husband and one for my teen daughter.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It fits comfortably in my lap with plenty of room for my book or magazine. I even placed my 19" laptop on it while sitting in bed. The cup holder holds coffee cups and glasses securely. It has a removable slip proof cover to prevent sliding if you have it slanted. Very good buy.

I have used two of these lap trays for over eight years and they have been excellent for any use from a tray for my lap top at home or when we travel, to a great tray for my meals. I am disabled and I can no longer eat at the dining room table so I eat my meals in my recliner using one of these lap trays.
I decided that I wanted and needed at least four more lap trays for when my grandson visits, and so I will have one dedicated for travel only. Also, we have recently changed our great room furniture and the burgundy trays will go much better than the blue ones we now have.

Nice product, cheaply made. Has a small pad, a plastic desk board and pocket. Does the trick. I use it to eat on or for my laptop -- but need to remove drink holder, which comes off easily. If you add a light to it, it can easily be clipped on the edge. The little pocket is handy to hide things in. I would recommend this product.

I have a physically challenged son. A car accident 4 years ago left him with a traumatic brain injury. He used his first tray in the car whenever we would buy fast food. We kept dragging it from the car into the house. Now, we have a second one for the living room. The Lap Desk has been a great help!
