This drafting table was perfect for my 11 year old daughter. She loves it. The assembly was rather simple (included some tools), you need to have your own screwdriver but that's it, quick shipment, and low price make it worth every penny.
There are a few drawbacks to this table 1) I found that the lever used to raise and lower the table top difficult to use, 2) The lower metal shelf is a little flimsy, 3) The plastic side compartments are a bit weak. 4) Even though I found assembly simple, the instructions are not very detailed, so study the picture carefully and lay out all your parts.
That said I still feel it is a great value, I would only recommend this product for children's use.
