I wanted a glass table so I could light underneath for tracing and maybe some glass cutting. This table is nice and so far I'm pleased with it. It took some time to assemble, but went together easily and the instructions were straightforward. I wasn't expecting the stool to be included so that was a bonus, and I like that the stool is height adjustable. The quality is appropriate to the cost. It will be interesting to see how the glass top holds up under use.
