This is a beautiful and very well built desk. Easy to put together, very high quality parts and a great price. I am very happy with it.



In addition, I got great service from the vendor Vision Decor. Don't try to tighten the door handles by twisting them from the front. Use a screwdriver on the back screw. They are pretty strong but they will break if you twist them hard. Mine did and Vision Decor immediately sent me a replacement. They were great.

This unit was not a disappointment! Solidly built, easy to assemble and move as necessary (by one person) and a great value for the price. The hardware is an improvement over previous furniture I've assembled. I would have liked a chrome upgrade on the casters to complete the modern look of the unit.

I will never place an order with this company again. They shipped out the wrong item. When I called customer service they were friendly but not great on following up. They recalled the coat rack promptly but failed to give an estimate on when the lamp would arrive and had no tracking information. The lamp finally arrived 3-4 weeks after placing the order. It arrived in a partially opened dammaged box without the original packing slip.

The light is very pleasing and a nice feature is the adjustability of the light intensity -- 3 settings. The lamp is larger than I expected but works on my desk. The adjustment arms not easy to change -- have to stand up and do it because easier to manage. The light itself easily tilted to side. Working well for me.

I am very disappointed by this lamp, especially because I was guided by the reviews posted by other customers. I bought it to use as a bedside table reading lamp. First, it is not beautiful or elegant in any way to my eye, but very utilitarian in appearance. Secondly, despite the anti-glare filter, the light is very harsh. Third, although it has three levels of intensity, all are too bright. Fourth, it does not "telescope" as advertised, but merely rotates on the hub. Fifth, it is not as well-constructed as I had hoped. The lamp rotates at the central hub and at the base of the light, and both screw-like connectors tend to slip and look like they will wear out. For the price, I expected something better made, better looking, and not as glary.



It probably works better as a desk lamp. I will have to return it.

My children joke about this lamp after my husband told them that it was "hundreds of dollars." You won't laugh at this though. It is high quality, child proof, knock-over proof (so far), and makes a great reading lamp. This is also recommended to treat seasonal depression for the winter blues in gloomy weather. The only downfall is that you can't count on this to light up a room. There is actually kind of a haze created above the lamp. No problem when sitting under it.

Hello, I recently received my lamp from amazon.



The aged bronze looks nice, 5/5.

This lamp comes with a light bulb and screw driver allowing you to remove the transparent covering and easily insert the bulb, 5/5.

The full spectrum light receives a 5/5

The lamp is adjustable in the sense that you can change the angle of the bulb portion 5/5.

The lamp only has one brightness level 3/5.







In the past I had a similarly shaped Verilux lamp which i used for reading and I liked it very much. The brightness was adjustable.

I really like this table/desk lamp. The design is lovely and heavy duty and the light is very easy on the eyes. I've had full spectrum lights before. I either found previous lamps too dim to do any work by or, if they were bright enough, they also had too much glare. This lamp, with its 26W (equivalent to 150W incandescent) is bright enough for reading, cross stitch and the jewellery design that is my passion, and the glare shield makes the illumination very easy on the eyes.



I found it locally and bought their display unit (and got it at a very good price) but if they had more I'd go back and buy another one. Best full spectrum light I've used.

Beautiful Lamp, but have no idea if it works. Bulb was broken when I opened package. It is a 26 watt floresent bulb but was not the screw in type that is common in most stores. This one has a base with two pins that you put in two slots in the lamp. I called Verilux customer service and was told the bulb was readily available at Lowes, Home Depot, or Ace hardware. Well guess what, when I took the base of the bulb to Lamps plus,Ace Hardware, OSH Hardware, Target, and every local hardware store in Pasadena, Calif. I only got a smile and a blank stare. I finally got someone with some knowledge at Staples who informed me that this bulb base with two pins is similar to some of the halogen bulbs they sell. He had never seen or heard of a 26 watt floresent pin based bulb. I called verilux (who did not ship the lamp, Amazon did) and was informed that this type of bulb is new and they would send me a new one which would arrive in two weeks. In the meantime I have this beautiful new bronze lamp in my den that looks very nice but sheds no light. Who's to blame, I don't know, UPS, Amazon ??? all I know there is no place to buy this type of bulb in the Pasadena, San Gabriel Valley area of So. Calif. But this is why I buy most everything from Amazon, they are efficient and the product is delivered to your front door and it spares me from from shopping at the local Target, Best Buy etc. where I have yet to meet anyone with knowledge, experience and an IQ above 3. UPDATE, finally gotb bulb from Verilux and lamp is wonderful, beautiful full spectrum light. Would highly recommend.
