Folks, this is not your run of the mill folding table.

This table is built like a tank! The legs are NOT merely tacked on with hinges. You have a sturdy (steel?) beam from one leg to the other to support the heavy tabletop.

It arrived via ups packed superbly in a huge square box.

Unpacking was very easy, and no assembly whatsoever was required. Simply unfolded the double hinged legs and it was ready to use.

I am extremely happy with this table and again, the description & picture here fails to convey the beauty and quality of this product.

I looked locally and online, and this foling table was exactly what I wanted.

i have two kids, so I needed something that they wouldn't break in five minutes. this table is not only sturdy but it is asthetic as well.



the discription states taht it is a special size, but it was really a 36 by 36 square, more than big enough for my family of four.



if you need a folding table, don't bother buying on at target, I looked.

all the other tables I could find were of inferior quality

I've decided to replace this pencil sharpener because it has been destroying too many pencils. I have the same problem so many reviewers have had - namely it tends to sharpen only one side of the pencil when it doesn't chew right through them. In the end, I find myself having to remove the wood on the unsharpened side by hand, all too often breaking the lead in the process. We'd have -much- better luck with a cheap 50 cent sharpener, or a kitchen knife, or a machete...blender...

I thought this was going to be a good sharpener, but it doesnt matter what pencil I use, it just does not sharpen well at all. I'm about to pitch it in the trash. Only one side of the pencil sharpens while the wood remains on the other half, making it impossible to write with. It's junk.

This is a totally inferior product not worth any price due to poor quality construction.

I remember growing up with a product similar in design though it had the BOSTON name in days gone by.



This xacto is a poor poor imitation made of cheap pot metal that will fail with only moderate use.

It's ok. The one big problem I have with it- it only sharpens on one side. Still leaves a bit of the wood all the way to the tip on one side.

I needed a sharpener at home for my kids and the various sizes of pencils they use. This thing is good in theory, but poor in practice. Every single pencil that is sharpened in this machine comes out with one side sharpened, one side pointed wood. A big disappointment. I paid more for mine than here on Amazon.



I also tried battery operated kind made by the same company...not enough power. Now I am looking at the grand daddy of pencil sharpeners...electric! I think I will skip the X acto brand though.

First off, let me say that this is a very solid, well build pencil sharpener. It did a great job of sharpening pencils - just what it was made to do! Unfortunately since I wasn't planning on mounting this, I didn't think about how I was going to hold the sharpener in place, while holding the pencil, and turning the handle without having 3 hands. Just doesn't work. This would probably we fantastic if it was mounted on the wall or a desk, but not very useful otherwise. My mistake and I had to return it.

Very nice heavy duty feel - quite rugged, Sharpens very quickly, better than most electric sharpeners AND takes different diameter pencils.



BUT, sharpens to an off-center point. That was a very significant disappointment in an otherwise super product.



Some pencils sharpen to an unusable state as the point is so off-center. Kids who tend to not keep the pencil perpendicular to the sharpener when inserting the pencil may have a hard time getting a usable point.



What a contrast between how rugged it is and how great the sharpening heads are generally with how the pencil actually gets sharpened.



I would bet some of these will sharpen off center like mine does & some not - it's a manufacturing consistency issue I would guess.
