This LED light arrived on schedule and works very well. I have an "EXTRA BIG AND LOUD" alarm mounted on the wall by my back door so that when I let my dogs out I can activate it for a preset time. Then I can choose whether or not to stand at the door and watch them (fenced in yard) in good or harsh weather. If it is extra cold or snowy outside I set it at one minute otherwise for 3-5 minutes. The light allows me to not turn on the room light but just the LED lamp, if needed, in order to easily see the buttons on the alarm. I made a keyhole type opening in the base in order to mount it on the wall. If it had been manufactured that way in the first place I would have given a 5-star review.

The very small amount of light would serve better if it wasn't so tightly focused. There ought to be some kind of optic that would scatter the light over a larger area.

I bought this lamp for my dad for Christmas. He needed a small battery-operated lamp to read by for a reading chair that wasn't near any outlets and only had a very small table nearby. After using it for day, I've decided to get one for myself. I plan to use it instead of a flashlight for doing tasks in dark areas. It's better than a flashlight in that i can just put it on the ground and point it at anything i want (up, down, out) and it just stays without having to hold it like you do a flashlight. I've only used it for day, but I recommend it so far!

Smaller than I expected but that's what you get for $9.61 lamp. The brightest spot size directed downward is about 4 inches across. Product description is incorrect because it has 3 AAA batteries included, not 3 AA.

I can not really rate this item since I never receive it. I waited for weeks, and had not cooperation from the company, so I am rating the customer service, and not the product. It looked good on the internet, but who knows.
